Groupama Group is a large-scale comprehensive insurance group with a history of 100 years. It originated from the agricultural mutual insurance company established by local farmers in France. It is the largest agricultural insurance company in France, occupying 2/3 of the market share in the French rural insurance market, and providing French farmers with all-round insurance guarantees such as planting insurance, breeding insurance and forest insurance. In terms of commercial insurance, Groupama’s motor insurance, enterprise comprehensive insurance and life insurance business are also in a leading position in the market, and its health insurance and local government group insurance rank first in France; Family property insurance, accident insurance and long-term care insurance rank second in France. At present, the international business of Groupama in France involves nine countries, including Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Tunisia and China. More than 17% of its premium income comes from the international market.
